Our Story

At Scholastic Sports Sales, we come to work every day because we have a genuine commitment to connecting athletes and teams with the equipment and uniforms that help them score goals, win games, make friends, hit home runs and create all the memorable sporting moments in between.

Our love for this business runs deep – we’ve been family-owned and operated since the day our doors opened in 1974. Founded by Harvey Miller and his wife in their garage in Cazenovia, New York the love of sports grew Scholastic Sports Sales from a two-person business into to today’s full team headed by Harvey’s son and current President Jeff Miller and Jeff’s three sons; Josh, Justin and Matthew.

Through the generations a lot has changed, such as moving the business to a 25,000 square foot facility in Manlius, New York to adding screen printing and embroidery to the services offered, but one things has always remained the same – to deliver the best service and products money can buy at a fair price.

Today, we seek out the best partnerships, such as ours Sports Inc., the largest athletic buying Group, to allow us to provide athletic departments, colleges, youth group, recreation departments and more with the uniforms that unite them and the equipment that fuels them.

We are more than products though, we pride ourselves on the personalized and professional services we offer which include everything from designing uniforms to hand delivering 144 soccer balls to save a client on shipping costs.

Being a family-owned and operated business means a lot to us, we treat our customers as extended family members and care enough about the business to uphold the mission it was founded on while continuously striving to find ways to deliver the best service and products in an ever-evolving world.
